PWSA Investigating Water System Leak: Update #11
UPDATE #11 (2/20/17 at 4:50 pm)

PWSA contractors made progress excavating a broken segment of the 60-inch water main connecting the Aspinwall water treatment plant to the Lanpher reservoir. The contractors will continue to perform excavation at the site to identify the precise location of the leak on the approximately 100 year-old water main. Until the excavation is complete, PWSA is unable to estimate the schedule for repair.

Contractors will be working 24/7, and Parker Street between Washington Street to Hill Street in Etna will remain restricted to local access only. No impact to water service or water quality is anticipated during the repair work.  PWSA will continue to provide updates to the public throughout the repair process until completion.
