Clarification on Automated Water Shutoff Phone Message
Pittsburgh, PA - This morning, an automated call from the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority was placed to some customers in error. The call message was related to water service shut offs due to non-payment. Customers who received this call should disregard the message.
PWSA is working to identify the cause of the error. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and confusion caused by the call and are working to ensure that it will not happen again. Customers who received the initial call will receive a follow-up call clarifying the error and to disregard the first call.
