The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) is the largest combined water and sewer authority in Pennsylvania dedicated to the protection of the public and health and the environment. PWSA manages and operates the treatment and distribution of drinking water, the conveyance of sewage, and the management of stormwater systems and serves more than 465,000 people throughout Allegheny County. PWSA has about 450 employees, union-represented and non-union represented, across six locations with the main headquarters located in the Strip District.

Residency Requirements
PWSA offers positions within the Pittsburgh Joint Collective Bargaining Committee (PJCBC) and American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and non-union, all of which have varying residency or domicile requirements. Please review the job description to determine a residency restriction for the position. Candidates are required to move within the residency requirement prior to the commencement of work.
