The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority is hosting an online meeting to review construction plans for the Lawn and Ophelia Stormwater Project. This meeting is an opportunity to learn more about the project and ask questions about its design, the construction schedule, and potential impacts.
The meeting recording will be posted online afterward.
About the Project
The Lawn and Ophelia Parklet is a city-owned park located in the South Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, within the Oakcliffe community. This project will renovate the parklet to capture and store stormwater runoff from nearby streets and other hard surfaces. The parklet design includes a rain garden with underground stormwater storage, landscaping, and a surface path. The project also includes drainage improvements in the public right-of-way on Lawn and Ophelia streets. Construction is expected to start in June 2022 and be completed in Fall 2022.
This project is partially funded by ALCOSAN’s GROW grant program. For more information about the project, please visit www.pgh2o.com/lawn-and-ophelia.
Please register for the meeting whether you plan to join online or by phone.
