This project, in the Brighton Heights neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh, will replace three water mains on several streets, providing more reliable water service to our customers.
Progress & Status
Service line verifications will begin after Labor Day weekend. Water main installation will follow.

- Cornell Street (Purdue Street – Wickshire Street)
- Wickshire Street (Pemberton Street – Cornell Street)
- Alleyway between Wapello and Lois Way
- Atkins Street (Termon Avenue – Goe Avenue)
- Parviss Street (Termon Avenue – Goe Avenue)
- Harvard Circle
- Wapello Street (Goe Avenue – dead end)
- Atkins Street (Goe Avenue – Benton Avenue)
- Atkins Street (Benton Avenue – dead end)
Locations & Schedule
Start Date: Summer 2024
Completion Date: Summer 2025
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Traffic Patterns: The street will be closed to local traffic during working hours and will be plated and re-opened at the end of the work day.
