This project, in the Lower Lawrenceville neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh, will replace three water mains on several streets, providing more reliable water service to our customers.
Progress & Status
Crews have begun exploratory digging to prepare for new water main installations, and service line material verifications on Ligonier Avenue.
Work will occur on the following streets:
- Liberty Avenue
- Ligonier Avenue
- Spring Way
- Sardis Way
- Cabinet Way
Schedule Detail: November 3 – November 21, 2025 Daytime Work: Ligonier Street (34th to Liberty) and the intersection of Liberty & Ligonier Nighttime Work: Liberty Avenue Additional Work: A 36” water main tie-in on Liberty Avenue scheduled for December 8-29.
