This work is a result of a large sinkhole that collapsed in late October 2019, damaging underlying infrastructure, one Port Authority Transit bus, and a vehicle. The street has been closed to pedestrian and car traffic to-date. Street restoration work will be done under a cost-share agreement with the City of Pittsburgh, who will share in the final cost of restoration of the street.
