A water science and infrastructure workshop for educators
Join Allegheny Land Trust and Pittsburgh Water for an immersive day of water education designed with educators in mind at Pittsburgh Water’s Treatment Plant!
Educators attending this workshop will have a variety of learning opportunities throughout that day, including a guided tour of Pittsburgh Water's water reliability infrastruture improvements at the treatment plant, and a deep dive into Healthy Water, Healthy People curriculum - Project WET endorsed, PA STEELS-linked curriculum which brings real-world water education topics to life!
Approximately $100 worth of resources will be given to educators in attendance as well as a 25-activity Healthy Water, Healthy People Water Education curriculum book.
You must register to attend, no walk-ins will be permitted. You must attend the entire day to receive your resources.
5 hours of ACT 48 are available. Lunch is provided.
You will be required to sign a waiver on-site to enter the water treatment plant.

A $10 contribution supports Allegheny Land Trust's land conservation, stewardship and community education programming.
