Employee Spotlight: Anthony Gallina

Get to know Associate Project Manager Anthony Gallina.
Associate PM, Anthony Gallina

As an Associate Project Manager in the PWSA Engineering Department, Anthony is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the management, technical review, and planning of capital improvement projects. His primary focus has been on projects that make up our ambitious Water Reliability Plan (WRP), all of which will modernize our water distribution system and provide customers with more secure and reliable water services.

Why do you like working for PWSA? I really appreciate learning from the people around me. There is a lot of experience here, mixed with a healthy dose of fun.

How do you contribute to the delivery of safe, clean drinking water for our communities? The projects PWSA is undertaking will ensure we have the capability to reliably deliver safe, clean drinking water now and for future generations. I hope that my part facilitating aspects of these projects contributes to that success.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard? If the elevator tries to bring you down, punch a higher floor.

What are your favorite challenges to tackle? New ones. Anything that pushes me to learn something new becomes that much more interesting. I’d say challenges that involve processes or lots of moving pieces are most in my wheelhouse, but I’ll try anything once.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work? My hobbies include skiing, music, and spending time with friends and family.

What was your first job? Making pizza and washing dishes at Gallina’s Pizza and Pasta.

What’s something you’re planning on doing in the next year that you’ve never done? Raising a toddler.
